Pappasole
Camping Pappasole is located on the Gulf of Follonica, between Piombino and Follonica, and it is only 400 mt. far from the beach facing Elba Island.
The Gulf of Follonica has a very rich in small inlets and beaches coast, not much gone to but with a typical crystal clear sea and wild nature.

- The main features of the Camping Village Pappasole are the wide range of accommodation and high standard services offered. The Campsite offers at least 4 different kinds of Bungalow (3 brick-built semi-detached villas and one prefabricated bungalow) and Mobilhome.
The Campsite is provided with a private and free beach, a commercial centre offering typical Tuscan products, an emporium with newsstand and the availability of a doctor and a pharmacist.
The arcade, bike rental and water sports base on the beach, complete the very accurate services offer.
- What to do
- The favourite activity for Pappasole guests is certainly an excursion along the most beautiful beaches and inlets of Costa degli Etruschi. First of all you have to visit the twin inlets Cala Martina and Cala Violina, only just south from Follonica, as well as the suggestive beaches of San Vincenzo and Baratti.
Camping Village Pappasole put the free beach and the equipped one at its guests disposal. The latter has also a water sport base where you can surf, canoeing and rent all the equipments.
Everyday the entertainment team organizes soccer, ping-pong, beach-volley, bowls tournaments apart from lessons of aerobics, acqua-gym, and group dancing.
Children will enjoy the mini-club and every night the animation team arranges cabaret shows, disco music and ballroom dancing.
- To See
- The Campsite has the perfect location to discover the hinterland and visit Massa Marittima with its worldwide famous Cathedral in gothic style. Towards north you can also visit San Galgano Abbey, Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci.
Towards south you can visit Castiglione della Pescaia with its fortified castle. Least but not last you should visit the Gulf of Baratti and the Etruscan Necropolis which is the most beautiful across the Italy for dimension and state of preservation.
