A mountain community of the Mugello, it stands in the upper valley of the Senio River, north-east of Florence. Worth a visit are the 12th century Badia di Susinana and the Palazzo dei Capitani, constructed in the 16th century, inside of which is the Museum of Rural Artistic Civilization.
