A town with a medieval stamp, is still holds the castle, with doors surmounted by towers, the frescoed church of San Nicolò and San Donato. From Calenzano, we can go up Monte Morello, which is also reachable from Sesto Fiorentino by taking the scenic trail of Colli Alti (apx 13 km). The peak (934 m) offers a fabulous view and can be reached over the hiking trails.
