An agricultural and industrial community, located on the left bank of the Sieve River, Borgo San Lorenzo has developed into a flourishing community of pottery artists. the parish church of San Lorenzo has a 13th century terra cotta bell tower; inside is a crucifix in the manner of Giotto and a 15th cntury image of the saint.
