Camping Acapulco is set amid an ancient pine forest  a stone’s throw from the sea overlooking the bay between Talamone and the Monte Argentario peninsula. The  sandy beach’s sheltered position means the sea is almost always calm, so it’s a perfect spot for watersports, from sailing to windsurfing.

As well as the usual pitches, the campsite also offers accommodation in the form of chalets. There is a children’s play area and facilities to play football, volleyball and table tennis.

On-site you’ll also find a well-stocked mini-market, bar and  a restaurant serving typically local cuisine. A section of the beach is equipped with sun shades and loungers for hire at discounted rates for campers.

What to do

Our campsite is located in the heart of the Maremma, region of Tuscany, and along the “Etruscan Coast”, and as such is an ideal base from which visitors can explore:

• The archaeological sites of Populonia, Vetulonia and Roselle
• The Uccellina Regional Park, the Diaccia Botrona nature reserve and the Lagoon of Orbetello
• The Monte Argentario and the islands of Giglio and Giannutri
• The Amiata mountains with its picturesque hilltop villages and its own Nature Park
