Norcenni Girasole Club

Camping Norcenni Girasole is in Figline Valdarno, situated halfway between Florence and Arezzo, both cities are within easy reach thanks to the close proximity of the the A1 motorway exit.

Figline Valdarno is in a privileged position, central to the hamlets, villages and hills of the Chianti, and the ancient castles amongst the mountains of the Pratomagno and Casentino.

There is a wide variety of accommodation available, in addition to pitches for people who love to camp, there are:

What to do

Guests can join in with the daily activity program arranged by the entertainment staff: from aqua gym and muscle toning exercises, to traditional activities like 5-a-side football, tennis, basketball and beach volleyball.

During the course of the stay numerous tournaments are organised and in the evening there are shows full of music, dance and laughter.

Norcenni Girasole also has a large covered pool with a fitness area and an aqua parc with lagoon style pool and bar.

For anyone who wishes to explore the campsite's surrounding area, you can hire mountain bikes and scooters, the ideal way to get around the gentle Chianti hills.
Just a short distance away is Leccio where you will find “The Mall”, a very large outlet centre where you can buy designer clothes at discounted prices.

There are even specific activities for children, available daily at the mini club.

The campsite has a dedicated Tours, Travel and Information office where you can get advice about the multitude of destinations to visit, such as: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, S. Gimignao, Pisa, Lucca, Cortona, as well as thermal spa towns like Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme.

In addition, at the office you are able to book guided tours, museum tickets and handy shuttle bus services that allow you to travel without the stress of traffic and parking.

For anyone who wants to sample the local way of life, there is lots of information on the nearby charming towns and villages that merit a visit, such as Figline Valdarno, Greve, Radda and Gaiole in Chianti. You'll find details of the wine and food tasting opportunities and the many festivals and exhibitions that take place during the summer.

Further afield the evocative Castello di Romena and the hermitage of Camaldoli Evocative are easily reachable in the heart of the Pratomagno.
