Mareblu

The campground is situated in Marina di Cecina, famous for the beauty of its beaches. It is located where via Volterrana merges with trunk road Aurelia, routes that take you easily to Livorno, Piombo and Volterra.

The grounds cover an area immersed in a century-old pine forest, with a path leading through it, straight to the beach. The public beach overlooking the campground faces the Tyrrhenian Sea with a splendid view of Elba Island, Capraia, Gorgona and Corsica.

Camping Village Mareblu offers four different solutions to guests who prefer a Mobile-home type of accommodation, based on size and rooms:

• Mobile-home "type B" (sleeps 4 + 1 people)
• Mobile-home "type A" (sleeps 4 + 1 people)
• Mobile-home for 6
• “Deluxe” mobile-home for 5 or 6.

Each type of building has an outdoor veranda and kitchenette equipped with dishes and refrigerator. The price includes entrance to the pool, entertainment, hot showers and weekly linen change. The "deluxe" solution also offers larger rooms, AC and TV.

The campground also offers traditional pitches with power, a parking area and 5 wash room facility blocks.

All guests have access to the mall which offers a small market, a newsagents, a restaurant-pizzeria and a café.

What to do

Cecina is the ideal starting point for day trips to the islands in the Tuscan archipelago or inland. The islands in the Elba Island archipelago can be reached from Piombino.

Inland Tuscany offers enjoyable day trips, to locations such as “Masso della Fanciulla”, along the Cecina river where you can enjoy hiking in the summer and diving into the water between groups of rocks.

At the campground you can play football, volleyball and bocci ball; it is also possible to rent bikes and mountain bikes for trips through the splendid littoral line forests. The campground also provides a swimming pool for adults and children, as well as entertainment.
Of course, right next to the camp site it is possible to use the private or public beach, and take wind-surfing, sailing, scuba diving and catamaran lessons 

To See

When in Cecina you must not pass up the chance to see the towns of Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci. The small villages in countryside surrounding Pisa are also very quaint, such as Pomarance and Sasso Pisano, nestled in the district of the Fumarole park, which is known for the Larderello hot springs.

It is also easy to reach the art cities of San Gimignano and Volterra by car or by bus. Both are walled cities with a great historical and cultural past.
